Katreen Kwantes

Hi I am Katreen and I have been with the Boundary Bay Bluebacks for 9 years. I started summer swimming when I was 6 years old, and I have never looked back. My favorite part about swimming is defiantly the swim meet because you have the chance to cheer in your teammates. Swimming has become one of the most important things to me. I have learned so much from it I have also made some amazing friends. I can hardly wait for the season to get under way. It is by far the best part of summer!

Scott Robertson

Hello everyone and welcome to back to another exciting summer swim club season. For those of you who do not know me yet, my name is Scott Robertson. I have been swimming with the Bluebacks competitively for the past 8 years, and this will be my third year in a coaching position. Two of those years I was a volunteer coach and this year will be my first as a Group Coach and I cannot wait for the season to start. My goal for this season is to use my knowledge and passion for swimming to teach
and mentor my swimmers to be technically strong and caring swimmers. I believe that this will be accomplished in a fun and engaging environment so they can all reach their full potentials and become just as passionate about swimming as I am. I look forward to meeting all those swimmers new to the club, as well as, seeing all those returning from last year. Remember, the Bluebacks swim club is more than just a club, we are one big family cheering for each other and I am sure this year we will be as loud as ever…..so…. GOOOOOOOO BLUEBACKS!!!!!!!!!

Emma Siegmund

Hello everyone! My name is Emma Siegmund and I have been involved in competitive swimming with the Bluebacks in one form or another as a swimmer, coach, or volunteer for the past 10 years. I have also had the opportuntiy to coach for the Southpointe Academy Swim Team. I am a fully qualified lifeguard and water safety instructor and will strive to bring passion, dedication, creativity and variety to every practice.

I am very excited to have the opportunity to continue on with a great club and am looking forward to meeting lots of new faces this summer and working with coaches, parents and swimmers. I'm sure this summer will be tons of fun and a fantastic experience for everyone involved. So let's SWIM FAST and have A LOT OF FUN!
