About the Club

The Boundary Bay Bluebacks is a summer swim club for children & youth, that promotes the sport of swimming within a safe & enjoyable environment. The Club has played an ‘active’ role within the South Delta community for over 50 years, where we train at the Winskill Aquatic Centre in Tsawwassen.

We are a family-centered club that values open communication and a structured, developmental approach to swimming, to challenge each swimmer to attain their own personal goals. We encourage swimmers to reach their full potential through varying levels of healthy competition, encouraging skill development without ever compromising fun! For some, that may mean executing their first slip turn; for others, that may be earning a Provincial Championship medal.

Former Bluebacks have gone on to university varsity swim teams and some to the Canadian Olympic Time Trials.
